To ensure your safety and well-being during your stay, it's important to be aware of potential health and safety hazards. Here are some of the hazards to keep in mind:
1. Slipping or falling off the sides of the ramps on Gloria and Lulu: Please exercise caution when using the ramps and be mindful of any uneven surfaces or slippery conditions.
2. The pond: Take care near the pond, especially if you have young children. Please ensure they are supervised at all times to prevent accidents.
3. The swimming pool: When using the swimming pool, please follow the safety guidelines provided and be aware of the depth and any specific rules or restrictions.
4. Gas hobs and cookers: If you are using gas hobs or cookers, be mindful of proper safety procedures, never leave unattended. Ensure proper ventilation in the cooking area.
5. Falling branches from trees: Although rare, be aware of the possibility of falling branches from trees, especially during inclement weather or high winds. Avoid standing or parking under unstable trees.
6. Candles in the chandelier: If there are candles in the chandelier, exercise caution when lighting and extinguishing them to prevent any accidental fires or injuries. 7. Non-drinking water: Please be aware that the water provided is not suitable for drinking. Use it for other purposes, but refrain from consuming it. There is a separate drinking water source available for your convenience. 8. Gas shower in Lulu: If you are using the gas shower in Lulu, familiarise yourself with its operation and follow the instructions provided. Take care to prevent any gas-related accidents. 9. Trip hazards: Be mindful of the guy ropes around the campsite, as they can pose a trip hazard. Watch your step and ensure they are visible and properly secured to avoid accidents. 10. Paddleboards and bicycles (if available on-site): If you choose to use the paddleboards or bicycles provided, do so at your own risk. Take necessary precautions, wear appropriate safety gear, and follow any guidelines or instructions given.
